Resident Originally from Monsey Among Injured in Yerushalayim Terror Attack

A resident from Monsey that recently moved to Eretz Yisroel after getting married is among the injured in the shooting attack that happened outside the Kosel on Motze Shabbos.
The victim was lightly wounded under his arm, and was Baruch HaShem already released from the hospital after being treated for his injury.
The attack happened around 1:20am local time when a terrorist opened fire and started shootings at a bus that pulled over near the Kosel to drop off and pickup passengers.
Eight people were injured, with two of them reportedly in critical condition, including the father of a Williamsburg family whose name has been released for prayers, Yehoshua Tzvi Ben Surel, B’soch Sha’ar Cholei Yisroel.
The terrorist turned himself in to Israeli police hours after the attack, reportedly taking a cab to the police station, and handing over the weapon used in the attack to authorities.
“Horrified at last night's shooting attack in Jerusalem,” Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht tweeted. “Monsey residents are reported to be among the victims injured in this act of terror. Our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery are with all the victims and their families.”
