NYS Thruway Clears Roads Amidst Tropical Storm

Following yesterday’s severe weather and rainstorms, the NYS Thruway Authority has announced that they’re out on the roads inspecting and clearing the damage caused by the rain and flooding.

Extra crews are ensuring that all drains are clear as well since more severe weather is expected later in the week due to Tropical Storm Debby.

The Thruway Authority is also looking for ways to improve the roads and drainage systems to reduce the risk of flash flooding in the future.
