He also passed on a brachah from the Skeverer Rebbe, wishing Congressman Lawler success during his new term. As reported, the House Speaker and Congressman met with the Skver Rebbe ahead of the elections.
Congressman Lawler was extremely appreciative of the visit and warmly expressed how much his campaign stop in New Square had impacted him. He shared how enjoyable and emotional the experience was for him, and how impressed he was with the local yidden and children he met. The visit showed him the value of the local Jewish communities, and its obvious that it made a big kiddush Hashem.
Mayor Spitzer also mentioned Rafi Silberberg, Lawler’s District Director, and how indispensable his assistance is to the community. Spitzer told the congressman how satisfied the community is with his service so far and their hopes for what he will accomplish during his next term.
