By Rockland Daily Staff
A ceremony was held at Palisades Parkway Police Station to celebrate and honor the work of various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies from New York and New Jersey.
Some of the agencies that were honored include the FBI, IRS, DEA, state police, and county prosecutors.
A special honoree at the event was Rabbi Abe Friedman, a community leader and law enforcement chaplain. He has been a crucial advocate and liaison between local residents and the police force for many years, and has been integral in building community relations.
Rabbi Friedman was presented with a plaque and praised by Mayor Adams, NYPC Commissioner Edward Caban, and Deputy Commissioner Tania Kinsella for his hard work and dedication to the community.
