Moshe Hopstein Recommended for Rockland Legislative Seat

The Rockland County Democratic Committee recommended Moshe Hopstein for the legislator seat recently vacated by Assemblyman Aron Wieder. The committee met today following the resignation notice from Wieder, who stepped down after 13 years of service to allow someone else to take his place.
The official vote to confirm Hopstein’s appointment will take place in one week.
Moshe has served in multiple public positions, including on the school board, and is currently chairman of the Spring Valley Zoning Board. He has been a well-known askan for many years, using his abilities to assist anyone in need.
Assemblyman Aron Wieder told Rockland Daily: "I've known Moshe Hopstein for three decades. Over that time, I've seen firsthand his dedication as a community activist and the tremendous community service he’s provided as a local businessman. He’s someone who genuinely cares about his fellow residents and will undoubtedly be an outstanding representative for District 13, and I’m proud to see him succeed me in the county legislature."
“It is a great honor to have been recommended by the Rockland County Democrats for this position,” Moshe Hopstein told Rockland Daily. “I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to using my position to advocate for and serve all constituents in our district.”
