Monsey Residents Report Antisemitism In Prague Airport

By Idy Perl
On Monday afternoon, a group of Monsey residents shared disturbing accounts of discrimination and antisemitism that they faced at the Prague Airport (PRG) while trying to board a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt.
The group reported that visibly Orthodox Jewish passengers were singled out at the gate and told their carry-ons were unacceptable—despite fitting in the metal sizer—and were forced to check them, while other non-Jewish passengers with larger bags were allowed through without issue.
When they questioned the apparent bias, they were met with threats of removal and, in one case, had a camera blocked while trying to document the incident.
