Elijah Melnick Visits Rabbi Senter In Wesley Hills
By Idy Perl
In his latest stop on the campaign trail, Elijah Melnick visited Rabbi Senter, the Rav of Kehillas Yeshorim of Wesley Hills. The two sat down for a meaningful conversation that spanned several topics.
They discussed October 7th and the rising antisemitism that is sweeping the country, to which Elijah firmly stated that there is more that can be done, and that should be done, to fight it.
The two discussed education, and Jewish education in particular, which Rabbi Senter pointed out produces many successful businessmen in our community. Elijah heartily agreed and reiterated his belief that parents should have a say and a choice in how they educate their children.
Elijah Melnick also spoke about the importance of voting for a Democratic nominee who has the connections in Albany, and therefore the ability and resources to get the funding and resources that the district needs. In addition, he believes its important to get moderate Democrats back in office in order to stabilize the party and prevent the far-left extremists from taking over.
Despite the many problems facing the country right now, Melnick stated that he is an optimist and believes our country is in a better place than it was in the last few decades, and that he can bring even more improvements to the community.
