BDE: Reb Moshe Rosman, z”l, of Monsey and New Square
By: Rockland Daily
It is with deep sadness that we report on the shocking and sudden passing of Reb Moshe Rosman, a ba’al chessed and ba’al tzedakah. He collapsed during his visit to Israel. He was in his sixties.
Acquaintances relate that he was born from a bracha from the previous Skverer Rebbe, and ever since then the family remained extremely close to the Skverer chassidus.
When the Skverer Rebbe shlit”a, came to Monsey, he stayed at the Rosman home, and the niftar was always known as a supporter of the chassidus and its institutions. The famed Ateres Charna Hall in New Square was built by his father, and he would come to the shtetl for Yomim Tovim, and some shabbosim throughout the year.
His shocking passing has thrown his family and the Skverer chassidus into mourning.
The levaya will take place tomorrow afternoon in Eretz Yisroel.
