‘American Recycles Day’ Educates on Recycling

Today is a nationally-recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. 

America Recycles Day educates and encourages people on where and how to recycle properly, be more mindful of consumption, and work on daily recycling. This includes being conscious of recycling at home, work, school, and on the go and buying products made with recycled content.

America Recycles Day serves to inspire communities and individuals to recognize recycling's economic, environmental, and social benefits. 

The current national recycling rate is 34%, representing an increase over the past thirty years.
