Rockland Sheriff's Office Seeks New Horses

Know of a horse looking for a new job?

The Rockland Sheriff's Office is seeking new horses to add to their mounted police fleet. 

The horses need to meet the following criteria: 

• 16.2h-18h
• 8-15 yrs old
• Draft horses preferred
• Mentally & physically sound
• Recently under saddle 

Although the department prefers horses that can be donated, they are willing to purchase horses as well. Residents with available horses are asked to email gregg.soriano@rcpin.net or call 845-364-5174.
