Rockland County Housing Summit Organized by Congressman Lawler

Congressman Mike Lawler held a roundtable summit this morning focused on local housing issues.

Congressman Lawler shared how he is working from within the Subcommittee on Housing to address Rockland County's housing challenges.

"The cost of housing is one of the most crippling aspects of the affordability crisis," the Congressman stated on X. "Our Rockland Housing Summit today brought together elected officials and stakeholders to address the challenges in our housing market. As a member of the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance, tackling this problem is one of my top priorities."

The summit was attended by elected officials, government and non-profit agencies, leaders in real estate, and community members. Discussion on the ongoing housing crisis within Rockland County was the focus of the day, as attendees were able to share their concerns and ideas for solutions.
