New City Fire Engine Welcomes New Officers

New City Fire Engine No. 1 welcomed its newest officers and congratulated award recipients.

The fire department recently held its annual installation of officers and awards ceremony. Chief John Pawelczyk, President Matthew DeGennaro, and all the administrative and line officers were sworn in during the ceremony. Firefighter Glenn Dietrich, a retired Clarkstown Police Department lieutenant, was awarded firefighter of the year, Harrison Klein was awarded Most Drills, and Luke Brennan was awarded Top Responder.
