Monsey Hatbox Opens for Aliya Boys, Provides 50% Discount to Replace Belongings Burned in Fire

Earlier today, a massive blaze ravaged a bunkhouse in Camp Rayim which was being rented to Camp Aliyah. B’chasdei Hashem, no one was injured, although some clothing and belongings were consumed by the fire.
After getting their bearings, the camp administration made arrangements for the summer to continue as before. For those who lost belongings, this entailed considerable challenges—especially with Shabbos and Tisha b’Av fast approaching.
As usual, our fellow brethren of Klal Yisroel were there for one another.
The following email went out to parents Thursday evening:
“Camp Aliya will be providing a coach bus for the boys who lost their belongings. They will be going to the Monsey Hatbox, which was so kind to open special for us, and who will have tailors ready for us when the boys arrive.
“There will lots of staff helping each boy in the process. Hatbox is giving us 50% off on all of our purchases tonight, and a few special parents have offered to cover the rest—mi k’amcha Yisroel! After buying suits, hats, shoes, etc., the boys will be going to Walmart to buy whatever else they need.
“Tomorrow, the boys will be going to Appletree and will receive a $30 gift card for nosh and other food. The bunk houses are almost ready.
We once again express our thanks to Hashem for His endless Kindness and for protecting all of us.”
