$164,150 in New Funding Provided for Program for Employees With Developmental Disabilities

$164,150 in new funding was approved by the County for an employment program for individuals with developmental disabilities.

County Executive Ed Day was joined by Acting Commissioner of Mental Health Dr. Susan Hoerter and CEO of Venture Together last week to approve the Just a Buck Employment Program funding. 

The program provides individuals with developmental disabilities on-site job training, competitive work paid at minimum wage, and community integration opportunities.
