West Nyack Revitalization Phase II Set to Begin February 10, Detours Announced

By Rockland Daily Staff

The highly anticipated second phase of the West Nyack Revitalization project is set to begin on February 10, bringing significant improvements to the area. As part of the project, a temporary detour and road closure will be implemented on West Nyack Road to accommodate culvert replacement work.

The first phase of the closure will affect a limited area on the eastern side of the park. Despite the detours, access to all businesses, residences, and the park will remain fully open during the construction period.

The Town of Clarkstown acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the detour and assured residents and commuters that the contractor has been directed to minimize the closure period to complete the work as efficiently as possible.
