Victim Of Nanuet Train Crash Identified

The victim of Wednesday's train crash in Nanuet has been identified as Congers resident Nicholas K. Colandrea, 32, according to MTA officials. 

The train, operating on the Metro-North's Pascack Valley Line, was traveling southbound at around 25 miles an hour when it struck the victim on the tracks as it entered the Nanuet station. Colandrea was pronounced dead on the scene when emergency responders arrived.  

Based on video evidence retreived from the scene, police do not suspect foul play at this time.
