South Pascack Road Reopens Following Completion of Route 59 Bridge Project
By Rockland Daily Staff
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced the completion of the Route 59 Bridge replacement project over South Pascack Road, bringing an end to the temporary road closure that took place last month.
South Pascack Road, which had been closed to through traffic between Pipetown Hill Road and Perlman Drive as part of the infrastructure upgrade, has now fully reopened. Local residents and motorists can once again travel the roadway without detours.
During the closure, a signed detour directed drivers around the construction zone, and local access was maintained. With the reopening, normal traffic patterns have now resumed.
