Rockland Welcomes 5 New Sifrei Torah

Between Today and Shavous, Rockland will be filled with an atmosphere of joy and celebration as five Hachnusas Sifrei Torah will take place, each dedicated to a different Shul.
The shuls celebrating a new sefer torah are:
Skver Monsey:
A new Sefer Torah will be joyously welcomed today at the Skver Monsey shul on Twin Avenue. It is dedicated in memory of the Rebbe's right-hand man, Rabbi Yisroel Meir Gunzberg, z"l. The Sefer Torah will leave 5:30pm from 27 Paikin Dr Unit 211, Spring Valley to the shul at 2 Lexis Court. A Seuda will take place in the KZM Simcha Hall, 153 Grandview Ave, Monsey.
Ratzfert:
A grand Hachnusas Sefer Torah ceremony will take place this afternoon at the Ratzfert shul in Airmont in memory of Rabbi Moshe Yankkowitz. The Sefer Torah will leave 39 Overbrook Dr at 5 p.m. and return to the shul at 5 Overbrook Dr.
Trisk:
A significant event is set to take place at the Hachnusas Sefer Torah of the Trisk Shul this evening. The Torah procession will commence at 4:00 pm from 9 South Post Lane, Airmont, and proceed to the Trisk Shul located at 4 Sobrisco Street, Airmont. A grand Seuda will take place in the Atrium Plaza, celebrating this joyous occasion.
Ohr Naftule:
The Mispalilem of the Beis Medrish wrote a new Sefer Torah, a project headed by their Rabbi, Rav Moshe Horowitz. This afternoon, at 5pm, the Sefer Torah will leave 4 Ronwood Road Spring Valley heading to the shul at 26 Pascack Road Pearl River.
Pshevorsk:
Another Hachnusas Sefer Torah ceremony, donated by the Stern family, will take place on the second day of Shavous, dedicated to the Pshevorsk Shul at 22 Ronald Drive. The Hachnusas Sefer Torah will take place around 11:10 am.
