According to the press release from Ramapo Police, 44-year-old Antonio Aguilar-Oliva was allegedly inebriated and unable to gain entry to the residence where he was staying. Eyewitnesses recounted scenes of chaos as Aguilar-Oliva purportedly kicked in the front door, shattered windows, and engaged in altercations with the arriving officers.

Subsequently, Aguilar-Oliva was taken into custody and now faces a string of charges including assault, obstruction of governmental administration, and resisting arrest.

Currently detained at Rockland County Jail, his bail has been set at $50,000.
