Red Flag Warning Issued Amid Drought Conditions

A Red Flag Warning is now in effect, as dry conditions and strong winds create an elevated risk of wildfires across the region.

The National Weather Service urges all residents to take extra precautions, as the lack of recent rainfall and continued dry weather in Rockland and surrounding areas heightens the potential for fires.

With no rain forecasted in the coming days, residents are advised to avoid outdoor burning, be vigilant, and report any signs of smoke or flames immediately.
