Large Brush Fire in Harriman State Park

Yesterday afternoon, a significant brush fire erupted in Harriman State Park, prompting a coordinated response from many local fire departments.

Multiple fire and rescue departments responded to the scene, including those from Hillburn, Orange, Bergen, Rockland County, Sloatsburg, Suffern, Tallman, Hillcrest, Thiells, Rockland Lake, Tuxedo, Spring Hill, and Mahwah.
