Monsey Rabbanim Gather at Home of Reb Eliezer Sheiner Ahead of Motzoh Tov Event

An Asifa took place Sunday at the home of Reb Eliezer Sheiner, ahead of tonight’s Lehikahal event by Motzoh Tov, focused on tackling the rising cost of weddings.

Representatives from across the kehillos, together with askanim and led by the Rav, met to prepare for the launch of an initiative aimed at making weddings more affordable, set to debut tonight at Rockland Community College.

They discussed opening budget-friendly wedding halls and launching services to ease financial pressure for families to celebrate with dignity, without an overwhelming expense.
