Building History: The Long-Awaited Home of Bobov-45 is Coming Into Shape

Think of the grandest and most magnificent batei medrash of kehillos around the world. Older Yidden love looking back with nostalgia, sharing how they remember when it was built and how things were before. 

Seeing a new such Beis Medrash brought to life is a rare occurrence, but when it happens, the world stops and beholds as history unfolds before our eyes.

Right now, another such momentous occasion is coming into view, right in the heart of Boro Park. We are, of course, referring to the new Beis Medrash and central kehilla headquarters of Bobov-45.

After years of planning and four years of construction, the building is almost complete. The structure being built on 14 and 49 will be home to a magnificent center for Torah, tefillah, and chassidus and will serve as the spiritual home for thousands of Chasidim and visitors for generations to come.

For a kehilla that has waited over twenty years for a home of its own, this building—as beautiful and grand as it may be—isn’t just another building. Instead, it is the actualization of a dream, and of the deepest yearnings finally being realized. 

Thanks to the mesiras nefesh-filled dedication of every chasid and the generosity of many supporters around the world, tens of millions have already been raised to bring this dream to life. 

But now, as Bobov-45 prepares to open the doors, leadership is forced to turn to Klal Yisroel for help finishing the job.

The wait has been excruciatingly long. The finish line is within sight. With your help, the doors will BEZ”H be opened this upcoming Tishrei season.
