Don't Break Into A Car Parked Across The Police Station

Yesterday afternoon a perp demonstrated once again that criminals aren't really that bright. 

At around 4pm, a suspect tried to break into a car parked in the Walmart parking lot right across the street from the Ramapo Police station on Route 59. 

He then attemped to flee the scene... by running directly toward the police station, and was swiftly arrested. 

The Ramapo Police taunted the criminal on social media, writing "Pro tip: If you're going to commit a crime, maybe don’t break into a car at Walmart… located right across from the police station… during shift change… and definitely don’t run toward the police department. Oh, and did we mention Ramapo PD has a 'drone as a first responder program'?"
