Sloatsburg Driver Arrested For Driving Under The Influence

The Ramapo Police responded to reports of a drunk driver yesterday afternoon in Sloatsburg.

They received calls about a car driving erratically on Route 17 in Sloatsburg, swerving across lanes and bumping into curbs. The police quickly responded and stopped the driver, who was found to be under the influence and was promptly arrested. 

The Ramapo Police commented on social media following the accident, saying "While we’re glad to have taken another impaired driver off the road, it’s frustrating—and frankly disheartening—that no matter how many arrests are made, there’s always someone else out there willing to risk lives by getting behind the wheel drunk."
