Confirmed: Viznitz Rebbe Shlita to Visit Monsey and New Square for Family Weddings

Late tonight in Eretz Yisroel, the family of the Viznitz Rebbe Shlita confirmed that, b’ezras Hashem, the Rebbe will undertake a trip to America to participate in upcoming family weddings.

The Rebbe Shlita is scheduled to arrive in New York next week, Parshas Vayeitzei, to attend two joyous occasions in his family.

A few weeks ago, Rockland Daily reported plans and preparations for this significant trip. However, due to the Rebbe’s delicate state of health, final confirmation was held off until now.

It has now been officially confirmed that the Rebbe Shlita will depart Motzei Shabbos Parshas Toldos and will spend about a week in New York. During his visit, the Rebbe will grace the wedding of his youngest grandchild, the daughter of his eldest son-in-law, Rabbi Yitzchok Twersky Shlita, son of the Skverer Rebbe Shlita. This wedding will take place, b’ezras Hashem, Monday of Parshas Vayeitzei in the Beis Medrash in Skver.

Two days later, the Rebbe will attend the wedding of another grandchild, the daughter of his son-in-law, Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Teitelbaum Shlita, who will marry the son of Rabbi Shimon Mutzon Shlita of the Klausenburg community in Monsey. The wedding will take place in the central Viznitz Shul in Monsey.

Excitement is already building among Chassidim in America, who are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Rebbe Shlita and the opportunity to celebrate these special family occasions together with him.
