Vizhnitzer Rebbe from Bnei Brak to Visit New Square for Family Simchos

Vizhnitz chassidim across the United States are preparing for the upcoming visit of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, who is expected to arrive from Eretz Yisroel in the coming weeks to attend a family wedding and continue medical care.

The Rebbe plans to take part in the wedding of the youngest child of his eldest son-in-law, Rabbi Yitzchok Twersky, son of the Skverer Rebbe. The wedding is scheduled for Monday, the 4th of Kislev, and will take place in the Skver beis midrash in New Square.

Although the Rebbe is still undergoing treatments, he has expressed a strong desire to personally join this simcha. He is expected to stay in New Square for about two weeks at the home of Reb Avigdor Ostreicher, Rosh Hakuhel in New Square.

The Shabbos Sheva Brachos will be celebrated with the participation of many chassidim, while the Shabbos aufruf will be held privately with only family members.

The visit will also include the Bar Mitzvah of the Rebbe’s grandson, Moshe Yehoshua, son of Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, which will take place in Boro Park at the start of the visit.
