West Nyack FD Chosen For Federal Grant

The West Nyack fire department has been chosen as one of the 38 recipients of a $6.5 million federal grant to improve fire departments throughout the country. 

West Nyack FD will be receiving $549,500 from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program. The grant will cover expenses for recruitment, equipment, and training to ensure that the fire department is at the top of its game.
