Village Of Nyack Launches Lead Pipe Inspections

By Rockland Daily Staff
The Village of Nyack recently notified its residents that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is requiring the village to visually inspect every home for lead pipes, and make a plan to replace those pipes.
The Nyack Water Department will be going door to door in Nyack from now until October 16 to inspect the water pipes of each home and building. The inspections will take place between 7AM-7PM and shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
For any questions or concerns, contact the Nyack Water Department at 845-358-0641 or nyackwater@nyack-ny.gov.
