Village of Kaser Distributes Recycling Bins

The Village of Kaser distributed large recycling bins to all village properties, provided by the Rockland County Solid Waste Authority. 

Residents are encouraged to recycle items like plastic bottles, laundry baskets, yogurt cups, kitchen, bath, and laundry containers, aluminum and steel cans, aluminum foil, and glass bottles and jars. Containers should be empty and rinsed before recycling. 

The Rockland County Solid Waste Authority collects more than 41,000 tons of recyclable materials each year, roughly the weight of 13,000 cars or nearly 100 airplanes. Many products are made using these recycled materials.

Residents are encouraged to start making recycling a habit to help keep the Village of Kaser clean.
