Vehicle Overturns, Crashes Into Tree On Route 45

Late last night a vehicle driving on Route 45, near Sanatorium Road, lost control, overturned, and crashed into a tree, resulting in a horrific accident that injured several victims. 

Ramapo Police, Spring Hill EMS, Rockland Paramedics, Hillcrest Fire Department, and New Square Emergency Services responded to the scene and found that the vehicle was completely totaled with a trapped victim inside. 

The emergency response crews were able to safely extricate the trapped victim and transported them to Good Samaritan hospital, while another victim was transported to Nyack Hospital.
