Vehicle Crash into Utility Pole on Route 202

This morning, a vehicle lost control and crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Route 202 and Copeland Drive, causing the car to roll over and leaving wires scattered across the roadway.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and sustained only minor injuries. Faist EMS transported the driver to Good Samaritan Hospital for evaluation.

Ramapo Police, along with the Tallman and Suffern Fire Departments, responded to the scene to secure the area while crews worked to clear the downed wires.
