Caught Red-Handed: Chavivim Step In After Painters Allegedly Loot Home

Chavivim volunteers were called on Sunday after a family reported that painters who had worked in their home had stolen several items following the completion of the job.

When confronted, the painters admitted to taking some of the belongings, though they denied having all of the missing items. Chavivim contacted the Ramapo Police Department, and arrangements were made for the stolen property to be returned.

Once the items were recovered, officers determined that the situation required law enforcement action, and the individual involved was taken into custody for further investigation.
