UPDATE: Suspect Identified and Charged in High-Speed Chase Incident In Haverstraw

The suspect involved in the high-speed chase incident that occured on Saturday night has been identified as Marcos Seda, 41 years old, of West Haverstraw, NY.
Following a thorough investigation, Seda was formally charged with the following offenses:
- Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree – PL 135.10 (Class E Felony)
- Assault in the Third Degree – PL 120.00 (Class A Misdemeanor)
- Menacing in the Second Degree – PL 120.14 (Class A Misdemeanor)
- Assault in the Second Degree – PL 120.05 (Class D Felony)
- Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree – PL 120.25 (Class D Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Previous Conviction) – PL 265.02 Sub 01 (Class D Felony)
- Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree – PL 270.25 (Class A Misdemeanor)
Mr. Seda was arraigned before the Village of West Haverstraw Justice Court, where bail was set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond. He has since been remanded to the custody of the Rockland County Correctional Facility.
