Update: Fire In Nanuet Leaves Building Destroyed

Yesterday afternoon a massive fire broke out in Nanuet that spread smoke to Monsey and the NY Thruway. Around 75 firefighters from several fire departments responded and fought to control the blaze. 

The fire ended up destroying multiple units in a building in The Highlands development in Nanuet, leaving several families homeless.

The building will likely be torn down due to the extensive damage.
