Finkelstein Memorial Library has a library budget vote today.

The proposed budget request is for $9,107,916, which is an increase of 3.36% over last year's budget of $8,812,169.

Residents are encouraged to go out and vote as the budget vote typically has a very low voter turnout, with an increased budget passing year after year.

Voting began at 7:00 a.m. this morning and ends at 9:00 p.m. in the Fielding Room on the library's third floor.

Security staff will direct visitors on where to park due to the ongoing parking garage construction at the library.

A copy of the proposed budget can be found here.
