Tragedy on the 17: Reb Mordechai Zafier u"h

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the tragic petirah of Reb Mordechai Zafier, a resident of Viznitz community in Gibbers in upstate New York. He was 55 years of age.
The niftar was traveling on New York Route 17, returning home from a Viznitzer wedding in Monsey, when around 1:45 a.m., a wrong-way driver approached in his direction and crashed into his vehicle, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and roll into an embankment and burst into flames.
