Tragedy in Monsey: 2-Year-Old Hena Leah Weingarten u"h Passes Away After Accident

The Monsey community is in mourning following the tragic passing of a 2-year-old girl this afternoon after an accident on Calvert Drive.

The accident occurred when the young girl, just 2 years old, was struck by a vehicle. Hatzalah emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical treatment before transporting her to Nyack Hospital.

Despite their efforts, the girl succumbed to her injuries, leaving her family and the entire community devastated.

The Nifteres is Hena Leah Weingarten u"h, the two year old daughter of Yblch"t R' Yosef Meir.

Chesed Shel Emes and Misaskim are at the scene, ensuring Kvod Hames and surrounding roads are closed.

The Levaye will take place 7:30pm at the house of the Skver Rebbe in New Square.
