The Town of Ramapo Highway Department is continuing road improvement work this week, with several local streets scheduled to be repaved today and tomorrow.

Today’s paving work is scheduled in New City for Sonata Street, Wagon Wheel Drive, and Doolin Road.

Additional paving work is scheduled for tomorrow in Monsey for Maple Terrace, Fairview Avenue, Brewer Road, Caville Drive, and Cape Court.

Town of Ramapo Highway Superintendent Fred Brinn said, “The paving is part of a broader effort by the Town of Ramapo to improve local infrastructure and address road conditions in neighborhoods across the town in order to upgrade local streets and provide smoother, safer roadways for residents and drivers.”

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should be prepared for possible delays, and use alternate routes during the duration of the work.
