Town of Clarkstown to Swear in Supervisor and Key Elected Officials
By YS GOLD
The Town of Clarkstown will mark the start of a new municipal term with a formal swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday evening, January 6, at Clarkstown Town Hall. The event will officially inaugurate George Hoehmann for a new term as Town Supervisor, alongside the installation of several key town officials.
Joining Supervisor Hoehmann in being sworn in will be Town Clerk Lauren Wohl, Superintendent of Highways Robert Milone, and Town Justice Leslie Kahn. Members of the Town Council—Jon Valentino, Mike Graziano, Donald Franchino, and Robert Axelrod—will also take their oaths of office.
The ceremony will be followed by the town’s organizational meeting, during which routine administrative actions, committee appointments, and procedural resolutions for the coming year are expected to be addressed. The evening will also serve as an opportunity for residents to witness the reaffirmation of public service and civic responsibility at the heart of Clarkstown’s local government.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
