Tilcon NY Donates Historic Storms Tavern to Town of Clarkstown

The Town of Clarkstown has received a major boost in historic preservation with the donation of the Storms Tavern property by Tilcon New York Inc. Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and the Town Board announced the donation, emphasizing its importance in preserving one of the community’s most cherished landmarks.

Located at 407 Storms Road, Storms Tavern dates back to the 18th century and is recognized as one of Clarkstown’s most historically significant structures. The building has long stood as a reminder of the town’s colonial heritage, and the donation ensures it will remain part of the community for generations to come.
