Ramapo PD Reminds Drivers to Be Patient During Road Work

The Ramapo Police Department is reminding drivers to stay patient and cautious while road work is underway, following a reported fight between a motorist and a road worker on Friday at the corner of Hemion Road and Route 59.

“We’re currently investigating a report of a fight involving a motorist and a road worker at the corner of Hemion Road and Route 59. Our drone footage shows that the situation was resolved by the time officers arrived,” the department posted during the situation. “But we’d like to remind everyone to give these workers a break. They’re working on a gas line, and lane closures may cause some extra traffic. Please be patient and stay safe.”
