Spring Valley Swears In Mayor Schenley Vital and Village Officials

Spring Valley held a full swearing in event today as the newly elected and appointed officials took their roles for the coming term.

The event began at 6 in the evening with the formal pledging of alliance and the swearing in of the new mayor, followed by a short address outlining the basic plans for village operations. The schedule continued with the intended swearing in of Yosef Hersh Gross as village trustee. Gross was not present, so the mayor delivered remarks in his place. Yaakov Yosef Kaufman was then sworn in as a Spring Valley trustee.

 Randy Mondessier will be appointed chief of staff.

To close the session, the board confirmed its meeting schedule along with Workshops  will be first and third Tuesday  of each month.

It was a procedural event that set the village’s leadership and schedule in place for the year ahead.
