Spring Hill Community Ambulance Awarded $73,929 in Federal Funding for Training, Equipment, and Supplies

Over $3.2 million in federal funding was awarded yesterday to assist New York emergency personnel, with $73,929.05 awarded to Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corp. 

The funding award was announced yesterday by  Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. The $3.2 in funding will provide protective gear, training, and supplies to emergency personnel in 29 departments, including Spring Hill. It also will aid with wellness programs and upgrading facilities.

The funding was administered through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.
