Sheva Brochos Celebration at Bais Yehudah-Semihai in Suffern, a Beacon of Light to the Entire Area

Supervisor Michael Specht of the Town of Ramapo attended the final Sheva Brochos celebration for the Deutsch family held at Bais Yehudah-Semihai, the only established full-service shul currently serving the local Jewish community in Suffern.
The Semihai Beis Medrash plays a vital role in the entire area by hosting regular tefillos and communal gatherings for local residents, as well as a spiritual anchor for individuals and families who come for Shabbos and throughout the week in order to be near Good Samaritan Hospital.
The shul serves as an essential resource for patients, visitors, and families requiring consistent access to tefillos during their time at the hospital.
The Sheva Brachos brought together community members and local leadership in a spirit of celebration and unity, highlighting the shul’s continued importance as a center of religious life and community support in the Suffern community.
