Tuxedo Emergency Agencies Conduct Active Shooter Response Training
By Rockland Daily Staff
Emergency service agencies across the Town of Tuxedo took part in comprehensive active shooter response training this week, marking what officials described as a significant milestone in interagency preparedness.
Participants included the Tuxedo Fire District, Tuxedo Ambulance Corps, Village of Tuxedo Park Police, and the Town of Tuxedo Police Department. The joint exercise went beyond standard response protocols, placing particular emphasis on coordinated post-threat operations.
In addition to neutralizing potential threats, the training focused on stabilizing injured individuals and safely relocating them from danger zones, a critical component of modern active shooter response strategy.
