Satmar “Satmark” Buisness Expo Highlights Growing Success of Heimishe Business Community Despite Education Criticism
Rockland Daily Staff
The Satmar “Satmark” Business Expo taking place today at Rockland Community College in Monsey is bringing together hundreds of heimishe business owners and professionals, with more than 500 businesses participating in the large-scale event.
While the expo itself features networking, business connections, and elaborate booth displays from companies across industries such as construction, finance, healthcare, transportation, marketing, retail, and real estate, many see a broader message behind the gathering.
For many within the heimishe community, the massive turnout and large number of successful businesses represented at the expo serve as a visible response to ongoing criticism at times directed toward the yeshiva and heimishe education system.
Many heimishe Yidden go on to build successful companies, support large families, create jobs, and establish strong careers through entrepreneurship, practical experience, determination, and business connections developed within the community itself.
Throughout the expo, attendees would be seen networking, forming partnerships, exploring opportunities, and showcasing businesses that in many cases were built from the ground up by heimishe entrepreneurs.
The event reflects the growing business culture that has developed within the Satmar and broader heimishe world over the years, with creativity and professionalism on display throughout the expo floor.
