Route 9W to Close in Nyack for Water Repairs

Drivers in Nyack should expect road closures on Route 9W as crews carry out water system repairs.

According to the Village of Nyack, Route 9W will be closed on March 11 and March 12 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the area of Montefiore Nyack Hospital and Oak Hill Cemetery.

The closure will affect the stretch of road between High Avenue/Sickles Avenue and Fifth Street. During that time, traffic will be detoured onto Midland Avenue to get around the work zone.

No parking signs will be posted along the detour route to help keep traffic moving safely. Motorists are asked to follow posted detours and use caution while crews and flaggers are working in the area.
