Rockland Office of Consumer Protection Conducts Oil Truck Inspections to Protect Homeowners

Rockland Daily Staff
The Weights & Measures Division of Rockland County's Office of Consumer Protection was out in full force last week and conducted ten oil truck inspections.
The inspections benefit the many homeowners throughout Rockland County who rely on oil truck deliveries for the oil that heats their homes.
The Consumer Protection inspectors ensured that the oil truck meters were properly calibrated and dispensing the accurate amount of fuel that homeowners are charged for.
As with all gas stations throughout Rockland County, consumers should look for the Consumer Protection seal at the pump or on the oil truck to ensure it has passed the annual inspection.
