BDE: R' Lipa Landau a'h, 56

It is with a heavy heart we report the tragic news of the passing of R' Lipa Landau at the young age of 56.

Lipa's smile reflected his inspirational character, and he was beloved by everyone who knew him, even those whose lives he touched only in passing. Working at the meat department in Landau's Supermarket gave him endless opportunities to share the warmth of his smile with those he met to uplift their day with his service and kind words.

Sadly, cancer hit him hard during his last months, and this morning, his neshama departed for a better world, leaving family and friends in deep shock at this tremendous loss.

The levaye will take place this morning at 9:30 at the Satmar Shul at 13 Monsey Boulevard, followed by kevurah in the Satmar Beis Hachaim in Kiryas Yoel.
